Q. What services do you provide when I list with you?
A. A complete list of the services we provide you is set out in what’s included in your listing.
Q. How do I list with you?
A. You may list either on-line or by mail. To do either follow the simple procedures described in listing your property.
Q. Are partial refunds given if I cancel early?
A. No.
Q. What happens to the yard sign and brochure container at the end of my listing?
A. When your property is sold, taken off the market or listed with a broker call us and we will remove the yard sign. If it is lost or badly damaged, you are obliged to pay us the current replacement cost. We would like the return of the brochure container if it is still serviceable.
Q. Who writes my listing?
A. Sellers write their own listings using our property listing form. Sellers are free to change their listings and pictures at any time either on-line or by mailing them to us.
Q. How do I include photos with my listing?
A. Photos may be mailed to us or uploaded with your listing by following the procedures described in listing your property. Photos and listings may be changed at any time by following the same procedures.
Q. How can I locate reputable attorneys, appraisers, inspectors, title companies, escrow holders, insurers, mortgage brokers and other professionals?
A. A small list of professionals who are thought to be reputable is found in our services directory. FSBO Washoe County neither warrants nor accepts responsibility for the performance of any professionals.
Q. When will I start to receive your services?
A. Your listing will be added to our website promptly on receipt of payment. We are usually able to erect your yard sign and deliver your open house sign, direction sign and brochure container within three days after payment.
Q. How can I pre-qualify for a mortgage loan?
A. A qualified buyer can usually obtain from a mortgage lender a pre-qualification letter stating the likely amount he or she will be permitted to borrow or a letter pre-approving a maximum loan amount.
Q. How long will you publish my listing and how much does it cost?
A. Listings are published for 3 months for $150 and for up to an additional three months for $1 per month payable when your property is sold, taken off the market or listed with a realtor, whichever occurs first.
